Gigabyte M912 Cafe Book

M912 Café Book series is Gigabyte product featuring a tablet-style netbook which more practical to use. Instead of just doing the reforms of the netbook from conventional, Gigabyte rather adds a touch screen on its netbook series. With this system, the users of netbook will be more comfortable even without the keyboard once. Users can use hand or pen stylus to access the netbook. A protective layer is placed on the front 8.9" LCD.

Judging from the physical form and complementary facilities, M912 Café Book does not have many differences with the other netbooks. This can be seen from the presence of input-output port to the keyboard layout.

M912 small keyboard is lack of relief when it is used despite the fact that the size of these keys can be enlarged because the lower part (near the touchpad) is still quite wide. However, M912 appears more complete with the availability of Express Card slot and Bluetooth connections commonly used by the various gadgets. Some netbooks usually do not have this completeness. This is a good point for the M912.

In specifications, there's nothing special at M912 Café Book because its processor still the same as the average netbooks, Intel Atom N270 with 1GB memory DDR2. For this reason, Café Book performance is equal to other netbooks on the market.

But the ability of audio encoding is quite fast and can only be rivaled by similar netbook LT2010n Gateway and Toshiba NB200. Unfortunately the graphic rendering is less powerful considering 3DMark2006 test can not run smoothly (except for the 3DMark score of 2003 which produced 623). However, graphics capability is not a priority in netbook product.
