Not very well at Electrolux who came up with the idea, but a prize for him or her because you have added a pair of speakers and an iPod dock.

According to Electrolux is not just "add an iPod to an appliance, if not it is a way to improve the ordeal of vacuuming, thanks to music.

It may seem stupid, hell, it seems pretty stupid, but do you ever work with or without music? But there are more companies creating processors, the other best known companies are Qualcomm and VIA. The latter is the one who has launched a new chipset, the VN1000.

This chipset is developed for use in computers are not powerful, like all in one and low-end PCs. But hardware supports all kinds, DDR3 memory, up to four SATA II hard drives, five PCI, 12 USB 2.0 and so is able to support playback of Blu-Ray and DirectX 10.1, which puts him in a position perfect for manufacturers of cheap computers.

If you can find a computer with a processor you Lucky?, Because they are not very common. HP experimented with processors in one of its first netbook, but the play did not fare very well, quickly switched to AMD by an agreement the two companies.

The use of these processors is always a reason, are relatively cheap and consume little power, not because they are mobile processors or MID, but have a chance now, although in January arrive Pine Trail Intel and rob them the leading role.

Motorola Droid (Milestone) Loses its Aggressiveness in European Advertising

While Motorola introduced the Droid in the U.S. in a blockbuster ad and other anti-iPhone in Europe has softened his tone to the point that costs to distinguish from any other mobile ad. The experiments were performed in patients who already have electrodes in the brain to monitor his epilepsy. More details after the jump.

The readings were taken with electrocorticography (ECoG), while patients were shown a series of letters or numbers and data are recorded. Once the calibration data taken, the patients believed in a letter or number and your brain waves are "transferred" to the screen. The theory is that this technique will allow paralyzed people to communicate or Lou Gehrig's disease, among others.

The scientist leading the project, Dr. Jerry Shih, says the program is capable of reaching almost 100% fidelity. Although, apparently, the results are far less invasive methods, Shih believes that ECoG has advantages because the skull and the scalp distort the information coming from the brain, so that the new system could be faster and adjusted. Shih also said that with EEG, "accuracy is not very big and takes a long time to learn the computer system of an individual individual signals and interpret them correctly.

The research is still in its infancy and has to overcome numerous obstacles. The initial study was conducted with only two patients, but have already reached six to plan a larger study to ensure that the technique is universally applicable. That yes, Shih system requires a craniotomy, a very delicate operation, and a device that interprets, properly calibrated for each individual.

EEG-based interfaces, on the other hand, although slower and less accurate, do not require such an operation. Thus, at least in terms of market adoption, the implant is a distinct disadvantage. Most people will prefer a loss of speed in exchange for avoiding a dangerous process.

For the moment, Shih is working to ensure the effectiveness of the method. Believes could serve to control prosthesis well as for writing. It also could be prepared with pictures instead of letters. Imagine an object and its image or name appear on the screen.

The device could be ready in about 5 or 10 years.

Ubisoft Will Release 10 Games for Xmas and 5 for the Sony Motion Control

There is still too long to determine if the magic wand of the PS3 or Microsoft's Xmas really be worth the penalty or be a technology that we have to forget how painful was the experience.

What we do know is that people now Ubisoft is already planning to launch some games for these projects in two of the most important as far as the game is concerned.

Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO, revealed that around, your company will release 10 games for Xmas in the first 6 months of release and 4 or 5 games for Sony's motion control in the same period of time.

Interesting that companies are already worrying about throwing games for the next generation of consoles that we see in the not too distant future (or at least I hope).

Sony ICF-CL75iP

Sony has products for all types of people, than you can imagine, including those products that you can not imagine that they manufacture, I would say is that Sony ICF-CL75iP. It's a digital photo frame, clock, alarm clock, alarm, FM radio, memory player and iPod player into a single device.

The basics you can expect from this device is that you at least an hour and wake you up in the morning, of course the time if you give it, with a 7-inch screen you can set the time to see full screen in the middle of the screen next to a picture or in a corner while in the background you can see images. It's actually a digital photo frame on steroids, has no internal memory but it feeds on any USB memory stick or directly from memory cards, which always have at hand.

This alarm clock has an interface that is certainly not a PlayStation 3, but this all clearly, with large icons where you can see it is each section. Configuration is very simple, you select the language, you're going to alarms and can configure two. It has two side buttons for each alarm that lets you change the time of each alarm independently of the programming. Wake up in a curious way they call the "wake-up fun," Clearly, if there were some funny stop dreaming of Megan Fox to crawl to work, understand it, I would call it "less boring alarm clock," "the machine ... "Monday.

This fun clock mode allows you to schedule three different alarm clocks which you can configure three things: a sound, a voice memo and picture. Can you imagine, you have a photo of your family and a song that you like or message from someone to wake up ... good idea?

But although he is presented as a digital photo frame and alarm clock, the most important use I find the ability to play music directly from my iPod or a hard disk. It has a USB port on the back so you can connect a hard disk or flash drive or your DVD player if you have included the USB port. But the iPod is better thought out. It has a small bay that is removed from the back and where you can connect an iPod or iPhone, manage it from the front keypad of the Sony ICF-CL75iP.

Sony presents it as a place where having photos, videos, music and alarm clock functions into a single device, but if we take a look at the price we see that it costs € 190. There is no excuse, is a product too expensive for what it does, the quality of the speakers is not bad, but the volume is very low for audio equipment for your player.

Not counting the big problem that we are the first time we see why so many buttons? "Another problem that we have to button to stop sounding the alarm? If you are someone who does not read the manuals you will find much of a problem, so what is the button right? This service has grown a lot, until September were an estimated 800,000 users who accessed only in Japan.

Now go to a pay, but without forgetting the free version, specifically the version that will have to pay for access will have more exclusive content.

The free service is maintained and by 2010 will expand, because Nintendo promised that by 2010 will come from international form. Is it competitive with other consoles? Well, the Wii was never competition with Xbox and PlayStation, is not that contempt, by contrast, Wii is a very different game console Xbox and PS3, is focused on a group of users very different from our other current consoles .

But when the Xbox and PS3 are already offering video stores, music, video clips, social networking ... and you can only play Wii, you notice that something is missing. Of course the players are not the only ones who like macros and assign functions to the extra buttons on your mouse. The tedious tasks of the office can be made faster with these tools. That's why the mouse was born of OpenOffice.

Honestly, this thing looks like an ugly low-tech mouse out of the mid-90s. But as they say, the functionality rather than the look. The mouse has 18 programmable buttons and joystick. Apparently 18 buttons was the maximum number available. Sure, it's ugly, but if you put as many functions as possible on the buttons on your mouse, then this $ 75 gadget is going to be your way. Intel Reader is a project developed for blind people, this is a system designed in all its functions to control it is simple and able to read any book you have at hand.

The idea is very good, this is a device that includes a camera and a small computer with OCR software, able to recognize words from a photograph. The operation is simple with the Intel Reader is a picture of two pages of an open book reader software that processes the picture immediately recognize the words and processing them with a voice synthesizer to "read it to somebody."

The reader has a screen that shows the words that you say, controlling with a few simple controls the volume, size of text displayed on the screen until the reading speed.

Intel said the idea of this product came from Ben Foss, one of its engineers who is dyslexic and has trouble reading, having to ask people who read parts of books for him. To this reader gets not only blind, if anyone with a vision problem is capable of reading a book.

The device itself is a small computer with a camera, but also come as no surprise that Intel, is managed by an Intel Atom.

Panasonic Launches DVD Recorder Compatible with AVCHD

I have internet for about 8 years and went through a few formats for storage until a few months ago I realized that since I bought the MacBook had used the CD player 3 times and the USB port for my flash drive countless times. By this I mean that I am a person who believes that the CD, DVD or whatever disk, and is practically zero. But I know that not everyone thinks like me, I will introduce this portable disc recorder also supports AVCHD.

AVCHD technology lets you record your videos directly from the camera via the USB 2.0 port. It also lets you convert your videos in HD quality common.

The maximum speed recorded this Panasonic, which measures 139 × 138.8 × 18mm and weighs 395g, is a 8x DVD ± R, 4x for DVD ± R DL, 6x DVD-RW and DVD-RAM 3x.

The company will begin selling in Japan since December 25 (in my opinion would not hurt to sell before Christmas) and $ 290.

I24R3 EOps Portable

I24R3 EOps Portable is not just a race to design, not a target, but a real sound system, wireless, portable and waterproof, created by designer Michael Young, Hong Kong. Although only one speaker out, really is a complete surround system with a sealed sound chamber in which there are two levels of 2.6-inch speakers, two speakers for 4.5-inch passive radiator and an amplifier 2 x 10W Class D. You can plug in or use your built-in battery lithium polymer, but has no audio inputs. The signal is received with a 2.4GHz wireless USB or Blutooth A2DP. Yet its price is not known, nor its release date. And above all, no one knows how it will sound.
This does not mean at all that we will be without USB 3.0 for a year, no, what he means is that manufacturers of motherboards and notebook makers will have to add a controller chip as its base plates extra cost, it is expected that manufacturers Intel, USB as a company that develops, integrates the control directly on its chipset. Without competition in chipsets, it seems that Intel has decided that innovation in USB is not necessary in a short amount of time. <span class="google-src-text" style="direction: ltr; To give it a proper pump, they have prepared a new line-up for AQUOS series. The LX series is coming November 10 in Japan and only then it will spread to other markets. Sharp engineers have done a good job improving AQUOS over the years, and with the latest LX series they haven't changed their habits. As usually, there is a choice between four models with different screen sizes and other features. Follow the link to see the detailes.

Four different screen sizes for AQUOS LX are 60", 52", 46", and 40". First three of them sport cool duo bass sub-woofer ARSS 6 speakers,. The 40 inch would not be sold with them. Anyway, most of other features are common for all four of LXs. The newly developed LED backlight system provides 2,000,000 : 1 contrast ratio, but they haven't stopped with that. Sharp’s exclusive UV2A photo-alignment technology manages to improve white and black shades while keeping energy consumption in two-thirds scope of the previous GX series result. Practically almost every piece of technology was updated for LX, it hard to bring them altogether, but, from what hasn't been mentioned, I emphasize new High-Picture-Quality Master Engine and Preferred Image Sensor. AQUOS Familink II has also been updated. All in all AQUOS remained AQUOS, only ten years better. Happy anniversary!

LG Chocolate BL20 Slider

LG Chocolate BL40 has been launched in early September. And now, right this Monday, 28 they have announced new Chocolate series BL20 slider. Is it much like Palm with its Pre and less well equipped Pixi sitting in the pipeline. Only that since Pre has gone cheaper, prices are on the different level. I've brought Palm example because it's the freshest of the case, all manufacturers do the same at some degree. Since LG Chocolate BL20 is not that much of a pump like Pixi, we'll just have a short specs walkthrough. Release of the BL20 is going to happen in Q4 in UK at O2.

Again much like Pixi, Chocolate BL20 lacks Wi-Fi and even 3G. for decent browsing Chocolate slider’s owner will have to find good EDGE signal and take his time. So, the specs: LG Chocolate BL20 stores its widgets on a 2.4 inch 240 x 320 QVGA TFT display, 262K colors. Camera is fairly nice, has Clear Memo Capture feature for better image of handwritten text, graphs or other stuff printed on paper, 5MP, autofocus and flash. I don’t need to indicate this every time anymore, do I? This is average. 900mAh Li-Ion battery provides 450 hours of standby and five hours of talk time. That should be enough since you won’t be browsing the Web too much on it. Internal memory has 60MB as standard and is expandable up to 16GB via microSD slot.

Freecom XS 3.0 Hard Drive with USB 3.0

The USB 3.0 ball has started rolling more that a year ago, and finally, after so much waiting and reading about its SuperSpeed technology that will bless on all of us some day, we finally have it dated for November. In five or six weeks from now, Freecom will put its Hard Drive XS 3.0 on sale. Its an external HDD and the key feature is USB 3.0, of course.

Introducing USB 3.0 to a external hard drive removes the bottleneck effect completely. The port itself will transfer 130MBps, which is bang on what most of home used 10,000rpm hard drives deliver. So, if we think of HDD versus SSD technology face-off in an external storage device realm, it might appear that you are not spoiled for choice and buy a cheaper and bigger hard drive. But will see considerable difference between them in writing speeds. So choose carefully. And, oh yeah, almost forgot, external USB 3.0 SSDs are not yet produced, but one day they will, right?

Back to Freecom Hard Drive XS 3.0 coming in November, it will be available starting with 1TB, 1.5TB and top model will have 2TB on board. What for? I guess you can easily find what time is it on display of a mobile phone, desktop or onboard dial in a car. Wrist watches nowadays are very much of an accessory rather than a necessity, simple as that. But, "let's just add some more functionality to them since they have an advantage of tight contact with human body" Michael Mathis and Gerda Hopfgartner thought and came up with the StressWatch – a watch that shows real time status of your stress.

StressWatch, I'm afraid won't show you time, but who cares if your opponent can see you rage growing while trying to bicker with you. Black graphs on StressWatche's face are stress meters and the colorful background works like a visualizer of current stress state. Green and blue themes say the watch owner is relaxed, dwells in a nice mood and can even possibly fall asleep every moment, while red and orange telltale blush should draw attention of all security guards available to prevent an assault.

StressWatch has a smart sensor on the strap that reads heart rate and body temperature.

I"m thinking now, this could work as perfect excuse to be abrupt and even honest maybe. "Don't ask me now about your tasteless vulgar outfit – I'm stressed out, see?!" Oh yes, you should get away with it if your StressWatch is all bloodshot. Seriously though, it can be a great indicator to know that you are better off taking a taxi rather than driving through crowded city center. Or StressWatch can easily give out lies. Be careful.

Sony Ericsson: MH907 Headphones

Just recently Sony Ericsson has unveiled their new and quite interesting Motion Activated Headphones MH907. Unlike ordinary headphones, Motion Activated have deserved quite a brief word on the sound quality, which must be fairly good overall, but has amazed everyone at the opening even with their distinctive feature. MH907 works like normal set of ear buds until you want perform an action like stop the music, start it or answer a phone call.

At this point the "motion" part of Motion Activated Headphones MH907 comes in. The idea is that you don’t need to pull the phone out your pocket or wherever it happens to be, you just pull one bud out. That will automatically pause the music and put it on again when the bud is back in. Same with the phone call. Plug just one bud and the call starts, pull it off – call is put on hold. This is really handy, no need to search for the mobile phone in a bag and then pushing buttons. Works best in public transport I think. Sadly though Motion Activated Headphones MH907 are only Sony Ericsson Fast Port compatible. To cheer up watch a funny toon starring MH907.

Explicit content from Vivid Entertainment soon on PlayStation Network

I could hardly ever imagine it will come to this, but offering PlayStation 3 users explicit content sounds like a good marketing idea… for only one part of the agreement. Anyway, here is what we know about the situation.

Stephen Hirsch from Vivid Entertainment company, which of course is notorious for shooting as much adult movies since mid eighties as no one in the business, has offered their products for worldwide availability via PlayStation Network. Talking through his point, Stephen Hirsch mentioned how many of its single users PS 3 will now be able to satisfy. Better wet, PlayStation Network will benefit a lot, considering all the potential extra profit. However, potential extra profit may come with a fair bit of aggressive approach from the press, fanboy clubs, parents, etc. No word in response from PS 3 officials yet.

Handycooler Personal Air Conditioner

Even despite of the fact that the summer is passing by, there are many more places where torrid weather seems to last on a daily basis where there is a necessity of air conditioner. Shutter button placement slightly to the first in our opinion less convenient and should be exchanged with the jog dial position. When in a hurry to take pictures, we often press the wrong button. But after using it, we realized that the laying into that position also makes the camera more balanced when held with two hands, while right hand pressing the shutter button.

An LCD screen 2.7" seemed to dominate the back of the Panasonic DMC-ZR1. On the right side screen panel can be seen playback switch, the E-Zoom, 4-way circle, display button, and Q menu button. This feature is typical of Panasonic compact cameras.

E-Zoom button on the rear panel arouse our curiosity. So we pressed. Well, LCD camera with 12.1 megapixel resolution directly show object in a very close shows, showing that the zoom lens moves from wide-angle mode to the telephoto. It's really fun. We pressed it again, and the digital zoom was presented with a maximum magnification of 16x.

What else is new? One of them is optical image stabilizer technology that by Panasonic is called Power OIS. This is different from Mega OIS system previously used. Stabilization in Power OIS, according to Panasonic, is twice than previous.

In the widest condition, 25mm camera lens and a long stretched out from a compact camera body. This lens has a maximum aperture f/3.3 (wide) and f/5.9 (telephoto). This camera brings aspherical lens elements 0.3 mm the first in the world. That's why the lens can be more compact than its predecessor. ZR1 Unfortunately does not package AVCHD video recording modes like others, presented only 720p HD recording format.

Approximately 2.57 seconds after the power switch is shifted to the right, ZR1 is ready. It takes 2 seconds to start shooting. Zoom was a bit slow, takes about 3 seconds when pressed.
Although the speed is still need to be increased, image quality is very good overall. At telephoto conditions, any object is maintained sharp. Unfortunately, the colors less accurate presented. Especially in blue look less bright, except clear blue sky. Noise started looking at ISO 400, with visible grain at ISO 800 and 1600.

Nice feature here is intelligent auto mode that automatically determines Best Scene when we shoot in macro and landscape conditions. Power OIS worked fine, but of course we do not expect to get a picture that does not blur without using a tripod, especially when shooting at night with a slow opening.

What about video quality? Compared to the quality of the image (still image), video still shows noise. Fortunately, the recorded voice sounds clear, though still interrupted by breeze sound. Which is also fun, optical zoom can be used when we are recording a video.

If you are looking for a compact camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1 is worth considering. Good picture quality, its zoom length, and endurance batteries good enough. Which is also fun, Panasonic plant 40Mb internal memory, which can be used as our SDHC card capacity out while we still want to take pictures. Besides silver, the camera is available in black, red, and blue.

PLUS: Slim and compact; E-Zoom button; 40Mb internal memory; good image quality.
MINUS: Burst speed; not Full HD; placement of the shutter button.

SPECIFICATIONS Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1
Sensor Resolution: 12.1 megapixels CCD
Resolution photos (min / max): 640x480/4000x3000 pixels (4:3)
Video resolution (min / max): 640x480/1280x720 30fps (HD)
Recording Media: SD Card / SDHC max. 32GB, 40Mb internal memory
File format (image / video): JPG / QuickTime Motion JPEG
Size-35mm equivalent lens (mm): 25 to 200
Setting aperture (wide / tele): F/3.3-F5.9
Equivalent ISO: Auto/80/100/200/400/800/1600
Zoom: Optical 8x; Digital 4x
Shutter speed (s): 8 - 1 / 2000
Timer: There are (photo)
The best closest focus: 3cm
Diagonal LCD: 2.7 "TFT, 230,000 pixels 16:9
Viewfinder: --
Connection methods: USB 2.0, AV
Type batteries / rechargeable Li-Ion 895mAh 3.6 V / O
Dimension: 9.78 x 5, 46 x 2, 6 cm
Weight with battery and SDHC card: 158 g
Web site: www.panasonic.co.jp
Warranty: 1 year

Nokia N97 Mini

Being a rumor since the Nokia N97 released finally Nokia N97 mini appears. N97 has exact shape only smaller and lesser price. Nokia N97 Mini will be released starting next October at a price of 450 Euros.

Nokia N97 Mini was introduced directly by the CEO of Nokia Anssi Vanjok in Nokia World 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany, Wednesday (2/9). The device is reliable as a provider of social networking in the virtual world more pleasant. Why? Because it is the first Nokia product that is integrated Lifecast with Ovi service that can be used to report on events and photos by location through Ovi Maps and A-GPS to upload directly to the largest social network Facebook.

In fact, this device is also referred to as an adventure friend deserves the best fit in hand. Because in it, there is an application that Lonely Planet will tell the 155,000 information of interesting places to visit such places to travel and restaurants around the world.

Nokia N97 Mini comes with a 3.2” touchscreen display which slides to display a full QWERTY keyboard as an alternative navigation. 8 GB memory capacity and can be expanded to 24 GB with microSD. In addition, this device is equipped with 5 MP camera with dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss Tessar lens. It is also important; the battery endurance reaches 12 days standby time and 28 hours of nonstop music play.

SSD A-Data S592 32GB

Since the beginning of the introduction, SSD (solid state disk) has been proclaimed to be exchange of harddisk, especially on notebook. SSD is considered superior to the harddisk due to absence of rotating parts, no noise at work (because there is no rotating parts), light, and also saving power. Initially, SSD is sold to the OEM (original equipment manufacture). But now you can also buy it in retail, including A-Data brand.

32GB

A-Data name the internal SSD S592. The capacity unit we tested is 32GB - the smallest in this series. Once formatted as NTFS, free capacity that can be used became 29.81 GB.

Besides 32GB version, S592 is available in three capacity options: 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The higher capacity, the more expensive, which is not necessarily proportional.

Internal consumption

A-Data intends S592 as internal storage for notebooks, netbooks, and PC. Therefore, S592 physical is simple. Rectangular body which is colored black with a red label dominates the upper body. On this label's identity revealed S592.

Each of two screw holes appeared on either side of the body, strengthen S592 designation as internal storage. However, A-Data screws are not fastened together, which are easily obtained. In the package there were only pieces of quick installation guide in English.

Perhaps because of the nature of the internal, A-Data did not provide the LED indicator on its SSD.

SATA II

Like all SSD, A-Data S592 uses SATA II 3GB/ s interface. On one side of the body comes lined with SATA connectors’ power connector. Both cable connector - SATA and Power 15 +7 pin - should you prepare yourself for the A-Data did not include it.

According to A-Data, with the use of the new controller design and technological breakthroughs SSD, it could boost data speeds up to read and write 40% to 60% when compared with ordinary SSD. Because A-Data uses a special mobile SDRAM to achieve sustained read rate of 230MB / s and write rate to 170MB / s. Act as a mobile SDRAM cache buffer that stores frequently used data for the system does not need to go back and forth to take the same data from main storage.

Approaching Speed Claim

Is the claim right? Several benchmarks were used to prove A-Data claims. HD Tach 3.0.1.0, in the short or long sessions bench, it gives results almost approaching A-Data claims, the average speed of 229.4 MB read / write s and 116.6 MB / s.

Meanwhile, the manual test revealed 52.26 MB write speed and read speed of 38.79 MB / s. Write speed is faster than similar SSD Silicon Power with twice the capacity that are tested at the same time.

PLUS: Shock resistant; not noisy; low power consumption; light

MINUS: small capacity.

Manual Test *

Write 52.25 MB / s

Read 38.79 MB / s

Erase 75.99 MB / s

* File size 5.55 GB test, consisting of 485 JPG and MOV files are spread over 19 folder on assembly PC (Intel Pentium 3 2.2 GHz, 2GB RAM, Windows XP SP2). Tests carried out three times and the results are averaged.

SPECIFICATION A-Data S592 (ASE1032GSAMPL)

Interface: SATA II

Capacity: 32GB

Buffer: SDRAM

Type of flash: MLC NAND

Features: Built-in ECC and wear leveling

Resilience: not mentioned

Vibration: not mentioned

Shock: not mentioned

Fittings: --

Dimension: 9.9 x7x0, 6 cm

Weight: 52 grams

Warranty: 2 years

Vendor site: www.a-data.com.tw

Olympus mju 7000, Stylus Version

One more Olympus mju series is presented with a major increase in resolution 12-megapixel. But starting this series Stylus 7000, Olympus deliberately preparing technologies which now increasingly popular in support of high-definition (HD) entertainment such as LCD TV and Blu-ray. Therefore, the mju 7000 offers a choice 1920x1080 pixel image resolution that is more fitting seen on the LCD display Full-HD TV and will be slightly cut off if you insist on showing it on the monitor does not support.

Mju 7000 shape as the stylus series is interesting with a thickness of only 2.5 cm and weighs 146 grams. This thick is not including the extension of the lens with 7x optical zoom. 3 " screen which is provided is also very wide and display clear image even in daylight conditions. This screen can display the image on the screen ratio of 4:3 (normal) and 16:9 (wide).

Olympus is also kind enough to put the internal memory even though only 16MB. If not satisfied, please use the xD card or a microSD which can be used via MASD-1 adapter, it is included. Using microSD cards clearly faster than the xD, as if the technology is not developed.

Although only have minimal manual settings, you do not have to worry if you want to take pictures quickly because mju 7000 is built smart with a variety of multi instant features. Variety of features, ranging from ISO and automatic exposure to technology that prevents Dual IS blur, are available.

Try and use the Intelligent Auto mode that can distinguish systems portrait photograph, landscape, sports, and macro (close range) completely automatic. Here, I give two thumbs to the advantages of mju 7000.

If you want to be a little bit creative, you can try 15 programmed schemes including smile detection capabilities (Smile Shoot) and face detection which is famous. In this case, face detection can be moved following the movement of people who recorded the face of the screen.

Camera viewfinder ability is very good both in dark and bright conditions. Unfortunately, the internal flash power limited approximately 2 to 3 meters. This is a typical disadvantage of pocket camera models.

One other mju 7000 drawback is the shutter speed gap problem, where shooting gap from one image to another image takes about 2 seconds. This is due to the use xD memory which notoriously slow to write data. Therefore, it is better to use microSD memory because faster in writing data.

But what is offered by Olympus mju 7000 is very interesting. Excellence in a stylish designs but strong impression (plus a series of photographs features fairly complete and easy to use) the best thing can be seen. Visual HD support, though not the primary, is also a great advantage. Instead of just doing the reforms of the netbook from conventional, Gigabyte rather adds a touch screen on its netbook series. With this system, the users of netbook will be more comfortable even without the keyboard once. Users can use hand or pen stylus to access the netbook. A protective layer is placed on the front 8.9" LCD.

Judging from the physical form and complementary facilities, M912 Café Book does not have many differences with the other netbooks. This can be seen from the presence of input-output port to the keyboard layout.

M912 small keyboard is lack of relief when it is used despite the fact that the size of these keys can be enlarged because the lower part (near the touchpad) is still quite wide. However, M912 appears more complete with the availability of Express Card slot and Bluetooth connections commonly used by the various gadgets. Some netbooks usually do not have this completeness. This is a good point for the M912.

In specifications, there's nothing special at M912 Café Book because its processor still the same as the average netbooks, Intel Atom N270 with 1GB memory DDR2. For this reason, Café Book performance is equal to other netbooks on the market.

But the ability of audio encoding is quite fast and can only be rivaled by similar netbook LT2010n Gateway and Toshiba NB200. Unfortunately the graphic rendering is less powerful considering 3DMark2006 test can not run smoothly (except for the 3DMark score of 2003 which produced 623). However, graphics capability is not a priority in netbook product.

GIGABYTE M912 CAFÉ BOOK SPECIFICATION

Processor: Intel Atom N270 (1.6 GHz, 512 MB cache, 533 MHz FSB)

RAM: 1GB, DDR2 667 MHz

Chipset: Intel i945GSE

Graphics Card: GMA 950

Harddisk: Fujitsu 160GB SATA II

Optical drive: No

Facilities: Wi-Fi b / g, Bluetooth, LAN, 4-in-1card reader, 3 USB, Express Card, 1.3 MP webcam, VGA-out.

Screen: 8.9", resolution of 1024x600 pixels

Sound card: Realtek HD audio (ALC269)

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition

Battery: Li-Ion 4500mAh

Dimension: 23.5 x 18.3 x (3.8-4.3) cm

Weight: 1.37 kg

Web site: www.gigabyte.com.tw

Nokia Booklet 3G

At last Nokia is also get into the computer business by making a netbook. Although the design is thinner than its predecessor, this P3 series looks solid and trim. Using 3-inch screen with various features, Samsung offers P3 with a price not too expensive. In comparison, the price is equivalent to the iPod Nano.

However, not many differences are made by Samsung in this series. There is no button on the front, all dominated by the touch screen. The on / off / lock and the volume is located at the top, lined with a small speaker. As for the bottom there is a port for headsets or portable speakers and a USB connector.

This series also has an interesting display menu and full of color. On the main menu there is a row of icons for accessing video, music, pictures, text, FM radio, voice recorder, file browser, bluetooth, and settings. Slide your finger, then the next row of the menu will appear, such as dictionaries, games, datacast, calculator, alarm, and address book.

This display menu can also be customized by going into the hidden menu at the bottom row of the screen. Tap here; it would appear the option to customize the menu. If you want to return to the main menu, tap on the top of the screen.

The uniqueness of P3 interface lies in the widgets that can be changed or removable. Users also can choose the pictures that are stored to be displayed at the corner of the screen slideshow at the bottom row of the menu. Another form of widgets, such as a cup of cappuccino or clock timer, is also available as an option.

P3 touch screen supports three main functions, namely tap, drag, and swipe. In general, there is no difficulty to operate this screen. However, you should not be too rude to the screen if you do not want the device become less- touch-respond to your fingers.

Features are not too disappointing. There are music player, video, and photo viewer supports various standard formats, including OGG, FLAC, WMV9 and Amazon Unbox, as well as AVI and H.264 for video.

Bluetooth feature which has double functions. Not only as sending files to another device, bluetooth in P3 can also connect with other devices. For example speakers or phone so that P3 can function as a headset like a telephone receiver.

DNSe technology from Samsung gives user choices of sound effects when playing music, from jazz, rock, classic, and others. The result of sound quality is also very good and clear, although the effect is less bass and small speaker do not produce loud sound.

You can also save and read the text through P3. But now only TXT format supports this function. Other unique features are the dictionary, subway map, flash player support, and datacast. Unfortunately, the dictionary only supports Korean- English dictionary language.

One of the most interesting features is datacast, which functions like RSS reader. However, the only shortcoming of this device is the lack of support for Internet connection, such as Wi-Fi. Snap becomes an “oasis” for them who expect cheaper prices among Touch series. Although its price is cheap, but not the technology it is used.

Snap uses QWERTY keyboard as its input, combined with slim handset, rounded edge, and light weight. Snap works using Windows Mobile 6.1 with no touched-screen technology. Though, it is still smart phone.

Snap can be connected to Microsoft Exchange server, so it can use a service that looks like push e-mail. Moreover, synchronization can be done through computer for e-mail, contact, calendar, and other files. Snap is also equipped with 2MP camera.

HTC has added some interesting features. One of them is Inner Circle button. This button is used to access e-mail.

This phone is able to be used in 3G HSPA connection. It makes this phone able to access internet faster.

There are some notes for this phone. First, it is hard to open battery cover that also becomes back cover for Snap. It needs little bit extra power on finger tip to open it. Second, when inserting SIM card you need to release the battery. While the slot is positioned over the battery, but still must release the battery because there is some kind of pin locking the SIM card hidden next to the battery.

Standard battery, 1,500 mAh, can be used for eight and half hour talking. Stand by time almost three days.

Samsung SMX-K40 and SMX-K45 Digital Camcorder

Samsung release 2 digital camcorder K Series with 720p. Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth headset by Motorolla Motorolla claims the HX1 Bluetooth headset to be the “only Bluetooth headset to use true bone conduction technology”. Bone conduction as well as CrystalTalk noise cancellation technology with a stealth mode enable users to hear and to be heard even when in noisy environments. This sounds awfully familiar like the Jawbone line of headsets.

Users can activate the stealth mode with the touch of a button, and the bone conduction technology is triggered instantly. The sensor of the HX1 Bluetooth headset will convert the user’s vocal vibrations to speech so that the listener hears nothing else but the voice. The Motorola Endeavor HX1 is also remarkably small, measuring in at only 47mm x 18mm x 12mm (1.9in x 0.7in x .5in) and only weighs 13g (.5oz). The headset includes a set of reversible ear hooks.
